Knits

Winter is here. My needles are clicking, and yarn is spilling out of the bins. Knitting season has arrived. It’s a sport, no doubt. Cowls have begun accumulating like little snowflakes around the condo.

If you’d like to accumulate one yourself, please email me. Each cowl costs $25 including shipping*. Pick your favorite color: barley (brown), marble (grey), oatmeal (cream), or new to the family charcoal. And finally, please stay warm this season! Cowls help.

As seen here and here.

*Paypal is the preferred method of payment. Checks acceptable. Currently, I am not selling my pattern. (This is my one and only secret recipe.)

Hi Melissa! I love to knit and crochet, too – such a stress relief and so fun to get creative! I was wondering if you could possibly share or sell the instructions/pattern for this cowl. I would love to learn how to make one myself! No problem if not! Just thought it wouldn’t hurt to ask.
    Thanks!

    Hello FM:

I stumbled upon your blog thanks to Freshly Pressed (I made it in November 2010! What a thrill!). First, I’m awaiting a spare moment to try your bread recipes, especially the cranberry-orange.

Second, please give me specs on the cowl, e.g., composition of yarn (100% wool?) and dimensions (width and circumference). I’m what they call petite but with big curly hair, so finding perfectly sized knit hats and scarves can be a challenge!

Finally, are you based in the US? Do you ship to Canada?
